The Goal

With a fast-approaching deadline to release at the Dallas Market Center Show the development team began building an extensive e-commerce application that would accommodate a wide variety of products for the home ranging from 3D printed furniture to locally made decor. The responsive web app would also need to allow for complex search and product filtering, and include event postings, a blog, and virtual reality content.

Our Approach

Using a content management system for an evolving new business, it was important to allow for flexible product input and total control over all content on the app. The design and development team worked in tandem to develop a site that not only functions smoothly, but has a sophisticated user experience and interface design to match the aesthetic expectations of designers and put the product images on display.

Since the app would be the center of focus at trade shows and events, CUR8 was designed specifically for functionality on a tablet. Creating a seamless, responsive user experience was a key focus as CUR8 is also used as a sales tool by the founder to build brand partnerships and recruit talented designers.

The app successfully launched at the Dallas Market Center show and continues to be the hub of the CUR8 business.
